Frequently Asked Questions

What are your hours and availability?
I am available for both virtual and in-person sessions in Mission Valley on the following days:
Tuesdays: 9 AM to 2 PM
Fridays: 9 AM to 2 PM
I also offer flexible virtual sessions at other times upon request.

What is the cost of therapy?
For individual sessions, my fee is $175 per 50-minute session. For couples, my fee is $190 per 50-minute session. You can absolutely do 75-minute or 100-minute sessions if you prefer.

Do you accept insurance?
I am considered out-of-network, which means that I do not bill insurance. What I can do is provide you with a superbill that you can send to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

How long will therapy take?
This depends on multiple factors. Some people come in for a short time to work on something specific, while others may benefit from a long-term support. We can work together to find what’s best for you.

What should I expect in our first session?
The first session is an opportunity for us to build a connection and see if we are a good fit for each other. I’ll ask questions so that I can understand why you are seeking out therapy and we can discuss how I can best support you. This is also your time to assess whether you want to work with me!

Is therapy confidential?
Yes. Therapy is confidential and I take this very seriously. What you disclose in the room/virtual room, stays in the room. There are a few exceptions to confidentiality that I will share with you up front in our first session.

What issues do you specialize in?
I specialize in anxiety, OCD, addiction, and couples therapy. I also work with issues like relationship stress, infidelity, communication breakdowns, intrusive thoughts, self-doubt, overwhelm, trauma, unhealthy coping patterns, and emotional disconnection.

What types of therapy do you use?
I use evidence-based approaches including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for anxiety and OCD. My work is grounded in warmth, curiosity, and compassion.
